Welcome to the sights of Thumper. The car is a 1995 Ford Taurus LX Station Wagon. This is not your usual wagon.
It has the SHO Yamaha 3.2L V6 24 Valve DOHC engine in it.
There has been the addition of PIAA driving lamps & Taurus SHO 16 " rims with 225/55 R16 Dunlop Sport W-10 tires.
Not that I go fast in a wagon , NOT.
As for what makes this car "Thump" you can see the upgrade of the system starting with the dash.
The added components for controlling Thumper are: Alpine 7554 Head unit with CD changer controls. The unit under that is the Alpine 3220 EQ and Digital Surround Sound Processor with crossovers. This display can allow me to control the EQ and sound fields.
I have installed the Alpine 6 disc CD-Changer in the center console arm rest. This allows for easy access with the 6 disc magazine.
The rear deck of the wagon closed and able to be used as a normal wagon for trips to Home Depot.

Finally the heart beat of Thumper. I was able to use the well of the wagon to hold my amps and sub. There are three amps to power the system totaling about 600 watts. The left amp is an Alpine 3552 2- channel for the pair of MQ Quart in the front doors. The middle amp is a PPI 600.2 amp for the JL Audio 12" sub-woofer. Finally there is the
right Alpine 3552 2-channel amp for the pair of MB Quart in the tailgate of the wagon.
